Probabilistic Modeling of the Risk and Recovery of the Transportation Systems for Community Resilience Analysis
Published in Reliability Engineering & System Safety, 2025
This paper develops a comprehensive probabilistic framework for transportation-system risk and recovery analysis in community resilience studies. By integrating hazard, risk, network, and agent-based recovery models, the work quantifies economic, environmental, and social loss categories and supports resilience-enhancement decisions such as retrofit prioritization and recovery planning.
